The microscope can be used with or without a stand. To observe the picture of the studied object, it is necessary to connect the microscope to a PC. You can observe the object under study on a PC screen as well as take pictures, record video, and carry out linear and angular measurements.The microscope features a 2 Mpix digital camera (instead of an objective lens), which allows you to capture a 1600x1200 pixels picture. The magnification can be changed from 20x to 230x; and manual focus is available from 0mm to 150mm. In low light conditions, you can turn on the backlight that consists of 8 adjustable bright LED lights.The microscope is compatible with Windows and Mac OS operating systems. To connect to a PC and to charge the microscope the USB cable is used. The body is rubberized for a comfortable grip. The Discovery Artisan 16 digital microscope is extremely user-friendly.
